D’angelo

Richmond native D’angelo, gained his wings on Tuesday October 14th, 2025.

A gifted artist from a young age, D’angelo easily became a staple in not just R&B but music history. Ripping though the piano keys at just age three and joining multiple music groups that toured around the city, he showed signs of success through his calling for music.

D’angelo’s musical influences can be traced back to the church, as his father was a pentecostal minister in the south of Richmond, Virginia.

This sound can be heard in many of his later projects alluding to the artist we grew to love and cherish today.

As they say , D’ angelo walked through Neo- Soul so that many sub-genres and artist alike could run.
